Overview:

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through managed care organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of third-party fiscal agents responsible for payroll.

The hours for this position are from 7:30pm-8:30am (Sleep/rest time allowed!)

In this position, you will be paid to sleep! Just in case that is not enough, this position involves caring for just ONE amazing person in their clean and tidy home!

This is a dog-friendly home, and some care of a service dog is required.

Let's talk about the pay rates for this position:

• $11/hr. while sleeping/resting.
• $15/hr. while providing supportive home care (cleaning, laundry, Pet care, etc.).
• $17.81/hr. while providing personal care.

Expected hours: 26 hours per week

Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour

Must haves for this position:

• Able to physically assist with position changes, which consist of pushing/pulling 35lbs .
• Experience with hands-on personal care.
• Experience using a mechanical lift (Hoyer) for transfers.
• Dependable with good communication skills.

A typical shift routine:

• The bedtime routine is from 7:30 pm- 8:30 pm
• Toileting 2 times nightly at 10:30 pm & 2 am.
• Morning cares start at 630 am.
• The shift ends at 8:30 am.
